Apostille

Apostille

All official documents issued by government institutions (in countries that are parties to the Hague Convention) and written in a foreign language must be prepared in three steps:

1. certification (legalization) with an apostille stamp on the original document or on a separate sheet attached to the original (in the country where the documents are obtained), confirming the document's legality.

2. translation of the original and the apostille stamp into Russian.

3.  notarization of the Russian translation (accuracy of the translation) by a Russian Federation notary (at a Russian consulate or by a notary in the Russian Federation)

Other countries provide a translation notarized by a Russian Federation notary or at a consulate.
