They say that it’s difficult to submit documents in Russia, but in Germany...
I’m already tired of hearing fairy tales about how easy it is to get everything processed in Germany — people have such short memories🤷‍♀️

A personal story:
- 4 years waiting for the call to Germany. This was with all the proof of ethnic ties to the German people dating back to the time of Catherine II.
- a German taking the German language test while still in Kazakhstan
- then 6 days living in one camp, all crammed on top of each other, and in a cafeteria where they stamped a card for every sandwich and lentil soup from the vending machine: “ate” — “didn’t eat”😂
- then, laden with duffel bags and suitcases, on three or four cheap commuter trains, all by ourselves across half of Germany to the next camp
- 45 days living in the second camp, now paying for our own meals, with a male exhibitionist who entertained us every day in the park with his “assets”😂
- after 1.5 months, a third hostel, now in the city where we were to settle. The hostel was a former soldiers’ barracks with a corridor layout.
- we only got our passports in the last place, after 3 weeks.

And what was quick about that?
They also made a mistake in my name, back when I received the call to Germany, because of which I now can’t prove that my relatives are actually my relatives. They also registered me as Catholic, which I have never been. And we paid for all the translations and documents ourselves—I know this for sure, because I personally took them to the translator and paid.
