The resettlement of compatriots is one of the priority areas of the Russian Federation’s migration policy. Raised in the traditions of Russian culture and fluent in Russian, compatriots are best placed to adapt and quickly become part of the Russian community’s positive social networks.
Another region is ready to welcome compatriots! The subprogram “Assistance in the voluntary resettlement to the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra of compatriots living abroad” is in effect for 2020-2030.
The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra (hereinafter also referred to as the Autonomous Okrug or the Yugra region) has participated in the State Program since October 2013. During the implementation of the State Program, 17 507 compatriots have voluntarily resettled in the Autonomous Okrug.
The regional resettlement subprogram is being implemented throughout the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra.
