Alexey Nechaev on the role of compatriots abroad: exclusive answers

On February 6 in Moscow, ahead of Russian Science Day, celebrated annually on February 8, an international scientific and practical conference “My Motherland — Russia: A View of Russia’s Image from Abroad and a Response to It” was held, organized by the “Path Home” movement and the Moscow Art and Industry Institute, with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo.  

At its grand opening, welcoming remarks were delivered by Igor Chaika, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo; Senator Elena Afanasyeva, Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs; and State Duma deputies Alexey Nechaev, head of the New People faction in the State Duma and Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Path Home Autonomous Nonprofit Organization, and Maria Butina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.
